Lindsay and Jacob’s engagement session at Canaan Valley Resort was a special one for me. Not only did we meet on a perfect early fall evening with the valley bathed in soft golden light, but this session felt personal. I’ve known Lindsay for years, watching her grow up from a young girl into the very strong, smart, sweet woman she is today. We chose Canaan Valley Resort for its breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere. As we strolled through the vibrant field, the early fall colors began to show, adding a touch of warmth to the background. Lindsay and Jacob were completely at ease with each other, their love shining through with every laugh, smile, and quiet moment they shared. They’re a perfect pair – Jacob’s steady presence and Lindsay’s joyful spirit complement one another effortlessly.
One of my favorite moments from the session was when the sun dipped behind the trees, creating a golden halo around them. It felt like time slowed down for just a few minutes, giving them space to soak in the moment. The mountains, the crisp air, and the soft light all seemed to come together perfectly, mirroring the start of their journey together.
Lindsay, I’m so honored to be part of this special time in your life, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and Jacob.
