Hey, soon to be Mrs! I started this photography journey in the 2010's needing a creative outlet from the job I was working. In 2020 I quit my corporate career to pursue this dream full time. I ran my business full time for nearly 5 years until I felt called into ministry. I currently work in full time ministry and take around 4-5 carefully selected weddings per year! Life is very full!
Along the way I've discovered that the most important part of being a wedding photographer is being able to read the room! I show up on a wedding day as a gentle expert with the goal of calming nerves, loving you, your family and friends, and giving you memories to last a lifetime! We won't rush you through an emotional first look or guide your grandmother out of the way as she takes a picture of you in your wedding gown.
Taking a beautiful photo is easy, but showing up on a wedding day to be a calming and organized presence is what I do best!
I always pack chapstick with SPF and a cold sparkling LMNT! Those things hit different during the reception after a hot wedding day!
I always love to hear that the groom enjoyed the engagement session because that means he'll be at ease on the wedding day! I also love to hear that the couples' family enjoyed our presence at the wedding!
I started as a food photographer and still LOVE to photograph food.
On the Saturdays I'm not documenting a wedding day I love to spend a slow morning reading a fiction book, getting a workout in, and then having a date night with my husband at a restaurant on the water!
