Annie and Luke’s wedding at the Middle Fork Barn Wedding, Meadowview, VA, was a celebration of faith, love, and community, set against the stunning backdrop of Southwest Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. As high school sweethearts, their journey together culminated in one of the most Christ-centered weddings I’ve ever witnessed.
From the moment you entered the barn, it was clear that Annie and her momma Terry had poured their hearts into every detail of the day. Annie’s vision of a reception filled with unique, thrifted tableware was brought to life by friends and family who spent the year leading up to the wedding scouring antique shops. Each table was adorned with mismatched, yet perfectly curated plates and goblets, all of which guests were invited to take home as keepsakes. The eclectic charm didn’t stop there—delicate antique teacups filled with small flower arrangements added a whimsical touch to the tables.
The ceremony itself was a beautiful reflection of Annie and Luke’s commitment to their faith. Their vows, spoken beneath a towering archway with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance (and performed by Luke’s dad), created a breathtaking and sacred moment. It was impossible not to feel the deep sense of love and devotion that radiated from the couple, their families, and their community.
The portraits were set against the rolling hills and majestic peaks of Southwest Virginia, capturing the timeless beauty of the landscape. As the sun dipped behind the mountains, Annie and Luke stood hand in hand, beginning their new chapter together as husband and wife, surrounded by the love and support of those closest to them.
