MEET meredith

Love blossomed amidst a vibrant sea of gold when Caitlin and Tommy ventured into a picturesque sunflower field for their sunflower field engagement photos on a charming flower farm in West Virginia. Bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun, their love story unfolded against the stunning backdrop of nature’s grandeur, creating timeless memories that will forever be cherished.

The folks at The Wild Sonflower in Jane Lew were so kind to allow us to use their field for this session! Check them out for U-Pick bouquets in the evenings and their traveling flower bar that would be the perfect addition to your bridal shower or wedding day!

A Sunflower Wonderland

As the couple strolled hand in hand through the sunflower field, the gentle rustling of the golden blooms seemed to celebrate their love. Caitlin’s radiant smile perfectly mirrored the brilliance of the sunflowers, while Tommy’s eyes sparkled with adoration. The vibrant hues of yellow and green accentuated their joy, making every frame a work of art. Surrounded by nature’s beauty, Caitlin and Tommy’s love seemed to grow even stronger, intertwining like the sunflowers that stood tall around them.

A Photographer’s Dream

For the photographer, this engagement session was an absolute dream come true. The enchanting sunflower field provided an ethereal setting, bathed in natural light, resulting in breathtaking photos that will stand the test of time. The couple’s love and chemistry were effortlessly captured as they enjoyed an evening amidst the blossoms, creating candid and heartwarming moments.

Nature’s Symbol of Love

Sunflowers, with their tall stalks and bright petals, are a symbol of love, happiness, and loyalty. They perfectly encapsulate Caitlin and Tommy’s journey as they begin their life together. As the couple embraced amidst the sunflowers, their love mirrored the flower’s tendency to turn towards the sun, seeking warmth and nourishment—signifying their unyielding affection and devotion for each other.

Adding a Personal Touch

To add an adventurous touch to their engagement session, Tommy decided to bring along his motorcycle since both Caitlin and Tommy are avid motorcycle enthusiasts. With the farm as a stunning backdrop, the sleek machine added a dash of excitement and spontaneity to the photos. As Caitlin wrapped her arms around him and they posed together on the bike, it symbolized their willingness to embark on thrilling journeys side by side. The motorcycle also represented their shared love for freedom and the exhilarating feeling of the wind in their hair, echoing the excitement of their upcoming life together. The engagement session became a perfect fusion of romance, nature, and adventure, capturing the essence of Caitlin and Tommy’s dynamic and passionate love story.

I am hosting mini-sessions in this field in September! Click HERE to email me in order to be placed on my email list when booking information is released!
