MEET meredith

There’s something incredibly special about getting to photograph the same couple in multiple seasons of their story, and this one felt especially meaningful as I met Carly and Bryson for their studio maternity session!

I first met Carly and Bryson at their engagement session in 2024 (which you can view here), and then had the honor of capturing their wedding day last September (which you can view here), a day filled with so much joy, intention, and deep love for one another. Getting to step into this next chapter with them—documenting the anticipation of their growing family—was truly such an honor.

Motherhood begins long before your baby is placed in your arms. There is a quiet anticipation, a sacred waiting, and a beauty that deserves to be remembered with intention. This studio maternity session was designed to do exactly that—preserve this fleeting season in a way that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

As a West Virginia studio maternity photographer, I believe your images should feel timeless years from now. Not trendy. Not overdone. Just honest, refined, and full of meaning.

Studio sessions offer a calm, controlled environment where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Soft, natural light. Clean, minimal backdrops. A focus that remains exactly where it should be: you, your story, and the life you’re carrying.

One of the things I love most about studio maternity sessions is the space they create to slow down. There’s no rushing, no worrying about the weather—just time to be present together. That sense of ease was so evident throughout their session, and it translated into images that feel both intimate and genuine.

Having walked alongside them on their wedding day, it was incredibly special to see how their love has grown into this next season. There’s a depth and familiarity there now, paired with the excitement of what’s to come and it made every moment we captured feel even more meaningful.

Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, every maternity session holds its own story. The quiet excitement. The wonder. The love that is already so tangible, even before you’ve met.

If you’re searching for a studio maternity session in West Virginia, my approach is centered on creating an experience that feels just as meaningful as the images themselves. From wardrobe guidance to gentle posing and direction, every step is designed to help you feel confident, beautiful, and fully seen.

Carly and Bryson, getting to document another chapter of your story is something I don’t take lightly. I cannot wait to see you step into parenthood. Your baby is already so deeply loved.

If you’re interested in planning your own West Virginia studio maternity photography session, I would love to connect and begin dreaming up something beautiful together.
