MEET meredith

In the heart of Charleston, West Virginia, nestled amidst blooming cherry blossoms and the grandeur of spring, lies the iconic West Virginia State Capitol. It was here that Brooke and Trenton chose to embark on their journey of love and commitment, surrounded by the timeless elegance of the WV State Capitol Building with all its beautiful architecture, white marble, and stunning columns. Enjoy the story of this WV State Capitol wedding!

As guests arrived, they were greeted by the stately columns and majestic dome of the Capitol building, serving as a picturesque backdrop for the celebration. The spring air was filled with the scent of freshly cut flowers and the gentle rustling of leaves, creating an atmosphere of natural serenity.

Brooke, adorned in a flowing white gown (one of three of the evening), radiated joy as she walked down the aisle towards Trenton, who awaited her with equal anticipation in his classic suit. The ceremony, held just off one side of the Capitol’s ornate Rotunda, echoed with heartfelt vows, adding a touch of sophistication to the occasion.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the Senate-side of the Capitol’s rotunda, elegantly decorated in shades of blue and white. Tables adorned with crisp white linens were accented with centerpieces of hydrangeas, reflecting the colors of the spring sky and the other expertly chosen details. The atmosphere was one of refined charm, where laughter and conversation flowed freely among family and friends.

A highlight of the evening was the cutting of the wedding cake—a masterpiece in itself, featuring intricate piping and delicate sugar flowers in shades of blue and white. The couple shared their first dance under the soft glow of crystal chandeliers, surrounded by loved ones who shared in their happiness.

As twilight descended over Charleston, Brooke and Trenton bid farewell to their guests, embarking on their new life together. The echoes of their classic blue and white spring wedding at the WV State Capitol lingered in the hearts of all who attended—a timeless celebration of love, beauty, and the promise of new beginnings.
