I had the honor of serving Sarah and Cole at Pinerock Farm – a Pittsburgh farm wedding venue in May 2022. I can confidently say that no couple envisions a cold, rainy, windy wedding day while they plan, but Sarah and Cole made the most of their day and their joy brightened everyone’s experience. They are a testament that you can have the most wonderful day regardless of how the day actually unfolds!
Sarah’s bridal details were some of my favorites for the whole year. She leaned into the pearl trend with her shoes and had one of my favorite things in the world to see – a cathedral-length veil.
One of the sweetest parts of their ceremony was their foot washing. If you aren’t familiar with a foot washing ceremony, it’s to symbolize that each of you is to be humble to each other to serve and honor each other in marriage. This ceremony truly sums up how it feels to be around Sarah and Cole. They truly wanted their guests to have a wonderful experience on their day and made sure everyone, including their vendors were taken care of.
