It's a year to the day after your wedding day. You wake up to the love of your life like you have every morning for the last 365 days. So much has already changed in your lives together, but this day will always hold such a special place in your heart. You both sit down together at the end of the day to look at your wedding album and all the memories start flooding back. The emotion of the day, the joy, the small moments that have a way of leaving your memory after a period of time.
Five, ten, fifteen years from your wedding day, the memories have faded a bit. You've experienced the ups and downs of life together, and your love is stronger somehow than the moment you said "I do." You have an anniversary tradition of looking at your wedding album together at the end of the day so you can remember the very beginning of your story and look back in joy on the life you've built together!
I truly believe in the power of photography because it is the only investment you make toward your big day that preserves your memories and the beginning of your legacy for a lifetime. Your legacy deserves to be beautifully presented and preserved as the heirloom it is!

We’ll hop on a quick call to get to know each other, answer all of your questions, and I’ll go real in-depth on what it looks like to work with me.
I want to make sure that this experience will be once-in-a-lifetime, so that means making sure you have your questions answered and you are excited to work together. If it looks like we’ll be the perfect fit for each other, we’ll make things official!
To make sure your date is secured on my calendar, I’ll send over an online proposal where you can review the details, sign your contract, and pay your retainer...then you’ll officially be a #MeredithBrookeCouple!!!

We don't wait until the big day to start hanging out! Most of my couples receive a complimentary engagement session with their wedding package. I love gifting this to my couples because it allows us to get to know each other more and you get gorgeous photos to celebrate this season and decorate your home.
We will use this time to shake off the nerves, learn how to look and feel natural in front of the camera, AND make life even easier on the big day!

As we get closer to your date, I will send over a questionnaire to get all of the final details to make sure we’re totally prepared. I will work alongside you and your coordinator to make sure we have a timeline that includes all of the must-have shots of romantic portraits, fun friend and family group photos, and pretty details.
If you have any last minute questions or need a quick opinion, I am your girl! I am here to be your partner in organization and make sure that we have thought of everything on your wedding day.
Wedding Day Prep

YAY, it’s here! It’s time for all of your hard work to come to life, to celebrate with your most special people, and let me get to work! There is a lot that goes into telling the full story of your day, so I will always shoot between 7-9 hours.
It is my priority to make sure you will be able to look back on every aspect of your wedding, from the little details to you two seeing each other for the first time to everyone belting out Don’t Stop Believin’ on the dance floor, plus all the laughs and tears in-between.
The Big Day

This is one of my favorite parts of the process! After your wedding day is over and you are settling into married life, I will be working to select the best photos from your day, edit them, and deliver them to you in a beautiful, easy-to-use online gallery. From there you can download, share, and order prints...and relive your perfect day over and over again!
I believe photos deserve to live beyond just an Instagram or Facebook post, so as your gallery is being edited, the first draft of your wedding album will also be prepared so you can begin the customization process. Imagine how sweet your future anniversaries will be as you flip through the pages and remember the beginning of this wild, beautiful journey.

I truly believe that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured.
Think about this fact: fifteen years ago, if I had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a floppy disk. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today. Even the online galleries we deliver will eventually fade away.
One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of cover fabrics and colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents' wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.
Handcrafted Albums
HEIRLOOM ALBUMS THAT LAST A LIFETIME
Unless you’re a model, being photographed probably feels a little awkward. I do this for a living and I still always feel a little out of place any time I have my photos taken. I get it!
I'm a big fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. First, they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how I pose. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is whyI've found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do an engagement session ahead of time.
Second, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you! While the images are great for save-the-dates, we’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.
Third, we will get to know each other! This is so important because I want to feel like a friend when I arrive on your wedding day! Engagement sessions are normally relaxed and fun, and you'll get to know how I work.
All of my collections include a complimentary engagement session for these reasons!
PS - destination engagement sessions are a thing! I am more than willing to travel somewhere fun, please reach out if you have a special place in mind!
