MEET BROOKLYN

September, WHAT A MONTH. Fall engagement sessions are in full swing, I began my back-to-back streak of weddings, and we’re headed into “busy season”….which is kinda strange because I feel like I’ve been crazy busy since May. HA! Enjoy this month’s recap!

Personal

  • We’ve spent an entire month in our new place, and it’s been so wonderful!

  • We were able to spend Labor Day with our family in Virginia. It was EXACTLY what I needed – a few days filled with family – before I headed into my busiest month of weddings yet!

Meredith Brooke Photography

  • Ashley & Josh got married at West Fork Events and it was beautiful! Obviously, I am WAY behind on blogging but I can’t wait to show you their wedding!

  • I met Sarah & Cole for their engagement session in Cheat Lake and I LOVED IT! I’m shooting their wedding in May and I cannot wait!

  • We traveled to Grand Vue Park in Moundsville for Kelsey & Taylor’s wedding day! The colors she chose for her big day were gorgeous!

  • We did Megan & Kyle’s engagement session in a greenhouse and I am obsessed. Can’t wait to show you!

Reading

  • Falling by T.J. Newman – this is a thriller that had me on the edge of my seat!

  • One of Us Is Lying by Karen McManus – this is like The Breakfast Club and Gossip Girl all rolled into one!

  • The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand – this book makes me want to move to the North East and open a bistro. Also I hated the ending!

  • The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth – this is technically a thriller, and while there is tension the entire book, it really ramps up during the last 80%!

Stuff I’m Loving

  • Morning walks. There is a lot of sitting during the week so I’ve been intentional to walk every day that I don’t have a morning shoot or meeting

  • Power Bowls from Healthy Choice. I’m impressed with the quality of these frozen entrees and i’ve been having them for lunch every day! They’re packed with real chicken and lots of vegetables, and they actually taste really good!
