It’s October so that means we need PIE!
I know that fall for some is PSL season, and for others it’s soup season, but for me fall means PIE SEASON! These little hand pies are small, easy to make, and would be a really cute packaged treat for a lunch box or to give out to your favorite trick or treaters!
The recipe for these yummy pies comes from Molly Grayson who I follow on instagram because of her #sundaybakes series. These looked so good that I had to incorporate them into my Sabbath baking!
A few notes:
I used pre-packed pie dough instead of making my own. I highly recommend the Pillsbury Pie Dough in the box, any other dough I can’t vouch for. My local grocery store was completely out of Pillsbury and I used another kind and lets just say I wasn’t happy. haha
These made 8 hand pies. The perfect amount for the two of us without having a bunch of leftovers tempting me on the countertop. Ya know!?
Please top these with salted caramel! So good!
